What this is
What is Golden Path Strategies, in one sentence? An analytics platform that publishes long-term trading strategies with their full backtests, lets you combine them into portfolios, and e-mails members when a strategy or portfolio changes position. Start with Welcome.
Is this financial advice or a signal service? It isn't advice: nothing here is tailored to you or tells you what to do with your money. What it does show is a strategy's current position, and alerts tell you when that changes. Whether you act on that, and with how much, is your decision. The Disclaimer spells this out.
Does it trade for me? Can I automate it? No. There's no broker or exchange connection, and alerts are e-mail only. If you want to follow a strategy, you place each order yourself at the exchange or broker you already use. Keeping up with a strategy walks through the routine.
What's the difference between a strategy and a portfolio? A strategy is one set of rules on one market: Von Lohengramm T7 - BTCUSD decides when to hold BTC (Bitcoin) and when to hold cash, and that's all. A portfolio splits one account across several strategies: Four Pillars Index [GPS], one of the default portfolios, puts 50% into crypto strategies, 20% into chip-stock strategies, 20% into BTC DCA and 10% into gold, and each strategy still moves in and out on its own. See What a portfolio does.
What does [GPS] after a portfolio's name mean? It marks the default portfolios we publish. Anyone can open them; they're read-only, and members can duplicate one to change it. See Default portfolios to explore.
Which default portfolio should I start with? There's no single right one, because it depends on how much risk you can live with. Conservative Index [GPS] is led by gold and stocks with a cash buffer and only 5% crypto, built to keep drawdowns small. 80/20 Crypto/Stocks [GPS] is a plain fixed split and a good one to duplicate and experiment with. Golden Path [GPS] is the flagship: it spreads across crypto, stocks, gold and DCA, and shifts toward stocks and gold as BTC gets expensive. Compare their Max DD before their returns. The default portfolios page compares them in a table with a "who it suits" column.
Which strategy is best for a beginner? None is labelled that way, and sorting by Total return puts the most aggressive ones first. Sort a folder by Max drawdown (low to high) or Calmar instead, click 5Y so every card covers the same years, and prefer strategies with a long history and a fair number of trades. Choosing strategies goes through it.
Why are the returns so huge? +854608% can't be real. It's what the account line did from 2015 to today, mostly because BTC itself rose from about $300 in 2015 to a peak above $120,000. Nobody who followed it would have earned exactly that: fees, timing and taxes all take a share, and the future won't repeat 2015 to 2021. CAGR and Max DD are far more useful than total return. Altcoin figures, marked with an asterisk, are inflated further by the early run after listing. See Return and CAGR and Risks and what this is not.
Money and plans
What does a plan cost, and what does it add? Monthly €50, Yearly €500 or Lifetime €1,500 once. Until 1 January 2027 every plan is 20% off as a launch offer: €40, €400 or €1,200, and Monthly and Yearly keep that price for as long as the plan stays active. Every plan gives the same thing: the latest three months of data, your own portfolios, bookmarks and e-mail alerts. Everything else is free to browse without an account. See Free and paid access.
Why would I pay for "only three months"? Because the latest three months include today. The free version stops at a cutoff date, so its Long and Flat pills show where strategies stood about three months ago. That's enough to judge a strategy, but not to act on one. Von Lohengramm T7, for example, shows Long for visitors (as of 28 Jul 2026 at the time of writing), while members see that it exited on 8 October.
Is there a minimum amount I should invest? The site doesn't set one. Remember that a plan is a fixed cost and real trading has fees, so with a very small account the subscription can eat a large part of any gain. That's your trade-off to make.
Is there a free trial? No, and you don't really need one. The free version already lets you explore nearly the whole app: every strategy, every default portfolio, the charts, the trades and the metrics, only without the latest three months. Take as long as you like with it before deciding whether a plan is worth it.
Are prices including VAT? Can I pay from outside the EU? Prices are in euros. Whop is the merchant of record and handles payment and tax collection, including VAT, for buyers in every country it supports. See the Terms of Service.
What is Whop, and do I need an account there? Whop is the payment platform that runs checkout, receipts and cancellations. Buying a plan creates or uses a Whop account; after that you can sign in here with Continue with Whop or with an e-mail link.
I paid with a different e-mail than the one I'm signing in with. Sign in with the address you used at checkout, or use Continue with Whop. Otherwise the site can't match you to your plan and says it couldn't find an active subscription. See Account, profile and settings.
The Pricing slider and the table show different totals. The table is fixed at three years; the slider adds up whatever horizon you drag it to. Both use the same prices.
What does "Lifetime" mean if the service shuts down? Lifetime access lasts as long as Golden Path Strategies operates. It's a single payment with nothing to cancel. The Terms of Service have the exact wording.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund? Click the user icon person icon, then Manage subscription, and cancel on Whop. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds aren't given as a general rule, so take your time with the free version before you decide. If a technical problem stops you from signing in, e-mail support@goldenpathstrategies.io within 7 days of purchase.
What happens when my plan ends? You see the free version again and alert e-mails stop. Your portfolios, bookmarks and alerts are kept, and come back if you subscribe again with the same e-mail. You can also download or delete them without paying. See When a plan ends.
Data and timing
How fresh is the data? The site updates once a night, shortly after 00:10 UTC (about 1 to 2 am in Central Europe). New prices are added, every strategy is brought up to date, and alerts are checked. Members see everything up to the latest finished bar.
Why 5-day bars? Can I change the timeframe? No, the timeframe is fixed: every strategy was built and tested on 5-day bars. About explains why five days, and How the backtests are built how the bars are cut for crypto and for stock funds such as SOXX.
When exactly do I need to act? Only when a bar closes and the strategy's position changes. If you've set an alert, you'll get an e-mail shortly after that night's update. Most strategies change position a few times a year. See Keeping up with a strategy.
When a strategy is Flat, what does the backtest hold? Cash, in dollars, earning nothing. The strategies never go short.
Do the numbers include fees, slippage and taxes? Mostly not. Most strategies pay no trading fee in the backtest and a few pay a small one. None include spreads, slippage, withdrawal costs or taxes, and every order fills at the exact recorded price, for most strategies the close of the bar that gave the signal. Real results are likely to come in below the backtest, since these rules were chosen with the past in view. See How the backtests are built.
Trust
If the strategies are so good, why sell them instead of keeping them to yourself? A fair question to ask anyone who sells trading strategies. These tools would have been built anyway, for our own investing, so sharing them costs little extra. Most of the site is already free: every strategy and portfolio up to three months ago. The strategies took years to develop and test, and we believe they can be genuinely useful to a lot of people. So we've kept the price of a plan well below what we think it's worth.
How can I trust a backtest? With care. A backtest is the past, and rules can be tuned to fit the past too well. Things that help: a long history across bull and bear markets, a reasonable number of trades, results that hold up when you click 5Y or 3Y, and similar results on related markets. Every trade is listed, including the losing ones. Overfitting and robustness explains what to look for.
Is there a verified record of anyone trading these with real money? No. There is no record of these rules traded with real money. The site publishes backtests that are updated every night, not an audited track record. Every strategy keeps running on new prices each night, but that's still a simulation, not real trading.
How can I tell a message is really from you? We will never ask you to download software, install a browser extension or paste a command into your computer. If an e-mail, message or page that looks like ours asks you to, it isn't from us. Please forward it to support@goldenpathstrategies.io so we can warn others.
Who's behind Golden Path Strategies? The company details are in the Terms of Service. You can reach us at support@goldenpathstrategies.io or on X.
What happened to the TradingView scripts? Golden Path Strategies started as invite-only scripts on TradingView, still listed on our TradingView profile as a legacy reference but not part of any plan. From 1 November 2026 TradingView only allows paid script access through its own Marketplace (announcement), so everything runs in this app instead.
Using the app
Why does a strategy show Long for me but Flat for someone else? On the free version the pill shows the position on the cutoff date; members see today's. See Free and paid access.
How do I compare two strategies? Click the scale icon scales icon on one card, then on a second card (up to four). A bar appears at the bottom of the screen as soon as you add the first one and stays with you while you browse Strategies and Portfolios; click Compare there. It works without a plan. See Compare them side by side.
Why can't I edit a default portfolio? Defaults are read-only so everyone sees the same reference. With a plan, click the copy icon Duplicate icon and change the copy. See Create a portfolio and add strategies.
My alert didn't fire. Alerts only fire when the position actually changes on a closed bar, which can take months. Check that an address is filled in under Delivery on the Alerts page, and use play icon Test alert to see whether the condition holds on the latest bar. See Alerts.
Can I get alerts by SMS, Telegram or push? No, alerts are e-mail only.
